Having just signed up the 28th babyballet franchisee and almost 10,000 babyballet pupils attending babyballet dance classes every week across the UK, I find this very hard to believe.
My intention when creating babyballet was to provide ballet classes that were fun, fresh and funky to appeal to 'modern day' children whilst maintaining the positive elements of traditional ballet classes such as discipline, manners and respect so hopefully this new style approach is creating a 'ballet boom'.
So, if it is in fact true that ballet is dying out, at least I know that the babyballet teachers, franchisees and Head Office staff are doing everything possible to keep ballet alive by introducing babies and children to this wonderful art and surely as our network grows more and more, this will feed masses of children into the 'ballet' system.
